We would like to inform all parents and guardian of VCS that there will be a HADITH COMPETITION for all students from VCS, MASJID FRESNO, MASJID BADR, MASJID MADERA and MASJID AlAQABA on Saturday March 17th, 2012, at 4 pm untill Isha time at MASJID FRESNO. Inshallah, Sheikh Ramadan, Sheikh Zia Ul Rahman, Ms. Amal, Ms Basmat, and Ms. Inas will be helping every student with memorization and understanding the Hadith, Islamic Educations, and Culture (IEC). VCS students are taking the required Hadith test Thursday, March 15th, 2012 at VCS during school time. It is required for each student to memorize the required Hadith in Arabic and understand the meaning according to their grade level. There will be valuable prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners to be announced. All participating students will be awarded with certificate of completion a book gift of Forty Hadith by Imam Nawawi in Arabic and English language. There is 15 Hadith to be memorized and understand inshallah. IC grade: first 5 out of 15 Hadith. KG grade: first 6 out of 15 Hadith. 1st grade: first 8 out of 15 Hadith. 2nd grade: first 10 out of 15 Hadith. 3rdgrade 9th grade: 15 Hadith. Open up to age 18 years old. Our beloved Prophet Mohammad (SAAW) said: "The best among you are those who are learning QURAN and teaching it to others, and in other long Hadith: " hold on to my Sunnah.
