Shafiq Mian is currently a board member at Valley Crescent School. They have been dedicated to the school’s progress since its inception as a board member over the years. His three daughters attended Valley Crescent School for their education. As a profession, he is a clinical laboratory scientist working with Kaiser Permanente Medical Center.

Arshad Hasan is an Electrical Engineer working in Power Sector for the last 20 years. He holds degrees of Bachelors of Electrical Engineering, Masters in Computer Science and an MBA. He has been living in Fresno for the last 14 years with his family. He is the proud father of one VCS graduate, along with two current VCS students.

Dr. Omar Chowdhry is a board certified anesthesiologist who holds a masters degree in education. He grew up in Fresno, CA graduating from Edison High School and then doing his undergraduate education in biology at UC Berkeley. He has had his kids in VCS since kindergarten and is grateful to see the tremendous well rounded individuals they have grown into. Dr. Chowdhry has been part of the VCS family since 2014 and loves basketball, coffee, and traveling.

Shukri Taha is a Palestinian American who was born in New Jersey and grew up in Palestine. Mr. Taha is a former president for six years of a Non-profit organization called Deir Debwan Charity. He is also a current Palestinian National Council member, a founding member of US Palestinian Council and served on the board of other Palestinian Organizations such as the Coalition of Palestinian American Organizations. He has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering and a Masters in Engineering Management. Currently he serves as a Primary Examiner for the United States Patent and Trademark Office, he lives in CA with his wife and two boys.
