HISTORY

Valley Crescent School (VCS) is a private Islamic school in Clovis, California, serving the broader Clovis/Fresno metropolitan area in the San Joaquin Valley. It is the only private Islamic school south of Sacramento and north of Bakersfield, dedicated to serving the Muslim community in Central California. Founded in 2001 with 40 students, the school moved to its current Clovis location in 2005 to accommodate its growing student body. The school facility can house up to 174 students and is set on a 3-acre lot with various sports courts and two playgrounds.
